Hemorrhoid Herbal Treatment
Some familiar herbs used to treat hemorrhoids are witch hazel, butcher’s broom and barberry. To encourage blood flow and healthy veins, use butcher’s broom. One to three 100-milligram tablets daily is beneficial.
Before using any of these herbal forms of hemorrhoid treatment, it is advised that you talk with your doctor, mainly if you suffer from other health issues, are pregnant, taking prescription drugs or breastfeeding. It is wise to adhere to the dosage instructions on the package. If you are pregnant, taking MAO inhibitors, alpha blockers or nursing, butcher’s broom should not be taken. Put witch hazel directly on the hemorrhoids using a cotton ball. Since this is a natural astringent, it will help lessen irritation and restore comfort. Add liquid barberry root to water, it shores up the gallbladder and liver, as well as thwarts constipation. Mix a small amount of water with two milliliters and drink three times a day. This mixture is not recommended if you are pregnant or nursing.
